National Center for Fathering
The mission of the National Center for Fathering is to inspire and equip men to be better fathers. In response to the dramatic trend toward fatherlessness in America, the Center was founded in 1990 by Dr. Ken Canfield to conduct research on fathers and fathering and to develop practical resources for dads in nearly every fathering situation.

The National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) seeks to confront the problem of father absence and improve the well-being of children by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. They provide public awareness campaigns, research, and other resources, and develop leaders of national, state, and community fatherhood initiatives through curricula, trainings, and technical assistance.

The National Practitioners Network for Fathers and Families (NPNFF) is a national individual membership organization whose mission is to build the profession of practitioners working to increase the responsible involvement of fathers in the lives of their children. NPNFF's programs and services are designed to foster communication, promote professionalism, and enhance collaboration among individuals working with fathers and fragile families.

Nurturing Fathers Program
Mark Perlman, founder of this site, defines "nurturing fathers" as men who actively provide guidance, love, and support to enhance the development and growth of children for whom they care. Published by the Center for Growth and Development in Florida, this 13 week curriculum encourages men to re-think their value in relationship to work, family and self.

Resource Center for Fathers
This Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota organization offers a broad array of resources designed to enhance the role of fathers in full parenthood and full partnership in raising their children. They strongly believe that win/win in the parenting partnership is the only way that children and their entire family, no matter its form, can thrive. They offer parenting workshops, anger management classes, support groups, a course on relationships, family law seminars, and a father crisis line.
