Trainings and Workshops by Fathers Network Staff

The staff of the Washington State Fathers Network regularly present workshops, trainings and seminars on a variety of topics. Most are presented in 1 1/2 hour, 3 or 6 hour format. Among the topics presented are:

- Strengthening the Family Through Enhanced Father Involvement

- Fathers of Children with Special Needs: New Horizons

- Starting a Fathers Program: Making it Happen

- Building Successful Family-Centered, Culturally Competent Programs

- Enhancing Personal and Family Resilience

- The Art and Science of Building Effective Relationships with Families

- Men and Loss: Rebuilding Dreams

- Getting Back Up When Feeling Way Down: Coping with Depression

- Care for the Caretaker

In most cases, we are able to tailor a workshop to meet your needs. We speak to all types of organizations, including special education, Head Start, and early intervention agencies, clinics and hospitals, family conferences, and local, regional and national disability conferences. Fees vary according to location, preparation, and time demands.
